A note on WORK's own words for this rim. The heading over WORK's price table for this size reads 2PIECE/REVERSE, and the RIM row of WORK's specification panel says REVERSE. WORK's index badges the three sizes 18SR/17SR/16SR, and WORK's own gallery captions for these photographs read ■リム：STEP RIM(形状). REVERSE is WORK's word for a step rim — the same usage as on the EMOTION D9R — so this page is titled STEP RIM. We are not choosing between the two words quietly: both are WORK's, and they describe the same rim.

WORK's own gallery captions give the build in every shot as STEP RIM with the standard buff-anodised rim; the matte black shots carry the matte black centre cap, which is WORK's select option at the same price rather than the standard cap. Nothing here is borrowed from another size, and no slide in WORK's gallery for this model is marked (カスタム) / (Custom), so every finish shown is one WORK builds as standard.
