A note on WORK's own words for this rim. The heading over WORK's price table for this size reads 2PIECE/REVERSE, and the RIM row of WORK's specification panel says REVERSE. WORK's index badges the three sizes 18SR/17SR/16SR, and WORK's own gallery captions for these photographs read ■リム：STEP RIM(形状). REVERSE is WORK's word for a step rim — the same usage as on the EMOTION D9R — so this page is titled STEP RIM. We are not choosing between the two words quietly: both are WORK's, and they describe the same rim.
Protrusion: WORK prints no warning at this size. WORK prints a rim-depth protrusion warning on the 18 and 17 inch tables of this model, and prints none at all on the 16 inch table — no threshold and no tolerance sentence. We state none, and we do not borrow the figure from a larger size, because a protrusion threshold is a property of that size's disc and rim, not of the model.
Four-bolt fitment — WORK builds the one disk on this size in 4H-100(60) and nothing else. Every listed build on this page is 4×100: WORK prints no 5H-100 and no 5H-114.3 disc at this diameter on this model, so a five-bolt fitment is not something you can choose in the picker. WORK's special-P.C.D. row for this size does print a five-bolt range — 5H-98–120 at ¥8,800 up per wheel — so a five-bolt P.C.D. can be put to WORK as a custom order, but that is a chargeable custom order WORK accepts case by case, not a listed build, and we confirm it with WORK in writing before we take the order. If your car is five-bolt, ask us first, or look at the 17 and 18 inch sizes of this model, which WORK does list in five-bolt P.C.D.s.
Both photographs on this page are WORK's own, of the 16 inch wheel sold here, in the finish each one names: Matte Black and Cut Clear. WORK's own gallery captions give the build in every shot as STEP RIM with the standard buff-anodised rim; the matte black shots carry the matte black centre cap, which is WORK's select option at the same price rather than the standard cap. Nothing here is borrowed from another size, and no slide in WORK's gallery for this model is marked (カスタム) / (Custom), so every finish shown is one WORK builds as standard.
