The WORK EMOTION D9R in 18 inch, built to order in Japan. A one-piece WORK wheel with fixed insets: choose the width, the colour and the inset here. On this model the inset you pick also settles the P.C.D.s the wheel can be drilled for and the centre-cap clearance, so everything you need to check fitment is in the picker above and in the table below. This size is WORK's STEP RIM build of the wheel: WORK prints it as 1PIECE/REVERSE in the SPECIFICATIONS heading, and REVERSE is its word for a step rim. Other diameters of this model are NORMAL rim and have their own page.

WORK EMOTION D9R — discontinued by WORK. Available while supplies last, on an asking basis. WORK has ended production of this model and now builds it only from the stock that remains, so not every width, colour or inset can be guaranteed. Please ask us before you order: we check your exact specification with WORK and confirm availability and lead time in writing first.

This model prints no taper type at all. Other WORK EMOTION wheels split each width into Semi, Middle, Deep and Ultra Deep taper faces; WORK EMOTION D9R's own SPECIFICATIONS table has a plain INSET column and no TAPER TYPE column, so there is no taper shape to choose and none is stated on this page. Pick the width first, then the inset.

Width, inset, clearance and P.C.D. table

WORK photographs Ashed Titanium, Black and White at this exact diameter and rim type. Every photograph on this page is WORK's own, of 18 inch STEP RIM — none is borrowed from another diameter, another rim type or another model. WORK publishes no photograph of Glim Black anywhere on this model, at any size, so this page carries none for it — the finish is sold, but WORK has never photographed it.

Special P.C.D. 5H-100〜115 and 4H-98〜114.3 — an extra at ¥8,800up per wheel, not a standard P.C.D. and not included in the price shown. Availability is per inset: only the insets marked in the Special P.C.D. column of the table below can be drilled this way.
¥8,800 is WORK's own tax-included up-charge. We confirm the converted figure on your quotation before you commit.

What you choose on this page

  • width, colour and inset — all three in the variant picker above. Each inset in the picker names the P.C.D.s it can be drilled for, whether WORK offers a special P.C.D. on it and its FLAT TYPE / HIGH TYPE centre-cap clearance.
  • A special P.C.D. is not ordered through the picker. It is WORK's ¥8,800up option on the insets marked for it — tell us the P.C.D. you need and we quote the wheel with the up-charge added.
  • Nothing extra to specify — just choose the inset in the inquiry form. These are WORK's fixed insets; there is no inset-to-order range on a one-piece wheel, so an inset between two listed figures cannot be built.
  • Quantity — the price shown is for one wheel.

Widths, insets, clearances and P.C.D.s — 18 inch

The last column is WORK's 特殊P.C.D. — a special P.C.D. drilled to order at ¥8,800up per wheel. It is a chargeable extra, not one of the standard P.C.D.s, and it is offered only on the insets marked for it.

Centre caps — optional, not included

WORK supplies these wheels with one air valve (V29K2, black) and one sticker per wheel. The centre cap is an optional item and is bought separately, one per wheel. WORK's own part numbers and list prices, tax included:

WORK part no. Centre cap WORK list price

No.120179 FLAT TYPE Silver ¥3,850 each
No.120180 HIGH TYPE Silver ¥3,850 each

No.120251 HIGH TYPE Blue ¥3,850 each
No.120235 FLAT TYPE W Black ¥3,850 each
No.120279 FLAT TYPE W Black / Navy ring ¥4,950 each
  • Black / Red ring, W Black and W Black / Navy ring are made in FLAT TYPE only.
  • The clearance figures in the table above are WORK's reference values from the mounting face: F to the FLAT TYPE cap, H to the HIGH TYPE cap. On some hub shapes the cap can still touch even below the figure shown.
  • WORK notes that on some vehicles the centre cap cannot be fitted at all.
  • WORK also lists select-option air valves in place of the black valve supplied: No.180082 Red: V29R2 at ¥550up each and No.180081 Blue: V29B2 at ¥550up each.
  • WORK lists sports decals for this diameter: No.130059 White: disc & rim sticker at ¥1,650 each, No.130060 Red: disc & rim sticker at ¥1,650 each and No.130061 Blue: disc & rim sticker at ¥1,650 each.
  • Ask us and we will add the items you want to the order.

Notes

  • Price is per wheel. Built to order by WORK in Japan; allow for production time.
  • Each wheel comes with one air valve (V29K2, black) and one sticker. The centre cap is not included — it is an optional item, listed above.
  • This is a one-piece wheel. The insets in the table are the fixed insets WORK builds; unlike WORK's two-piece models there is no inset-to-order range and no rim depth to choose — where WORK prints a rim depth it is fixed for that width.
  • P.C.D. availability is per inset, not per width. One width can offer different P.C.D.s at different insets, so read the row for the inset you are ordering rather than the width.
  • 5H-100(60) is offered on 18×7.5J at +53 and +47 and 18×8.5J at +47, and on no other combination on this page.
  • Special P.C.D. — WORK's 特殊P.C.D., ¥8,800up per wheel. This is a chargeable extra, not a standard P.C.D., and it is not in the price shown. WORK prints it as two extra ● columns of the same table. 5H-100〜115 is offered on every inset on this page; and 4H-98〜114.3 is offered on 18×7.5J at +53, +47 and +38. ¥8,800 is WORK's own tax-included up-charge; we confirm the converted figure on your quotation before you commit. WORK also asks that you enquire about the nuts and bolts you intend to use with a special P.C.D.
  • WORK prints on this model's spread that on the insets of 18×7.5J and 18×8.5J that are not marked for it in the table above and on 18×9.5J, 5H-100 comes under its special P.C.D. at ¥8,800up rather than as a standard P.C.D. The Standard and Special P.C.D. columns of the table above are the per-inset answer for this diameter.
  • 18×7.5J: because of the disc design the disc stands 4 mm proud of the rim flange.
  • Hub height clearance. The F figure (FLAT TYPE cap) and the H figure (HIGH TYPE cap) are WORK's reference values from the mounting face. Even below the figure shown, some vehicle hub shapes can still touch the cap.
  • TPMS. Not available at 18 inch. WORK offers TPMS on this model at 17 inch 7.0J only, and this page is not that size.
  • WORK prints no JWL load rating on this model's spread, so this page states none.
  • WORK's printed WEIGHT (Kg) figures quoted above are the bare wheel, as a "from" figure. They are reference values, not the shipping weight of the packed wheel.
  • WORK notes that some specifications take longer to produce, and that a build may not be possible under certain production conditions.
  • All yen figures quoted on this page are WORK's own tax-included Japanese list prices.
Fitment. Please choose your size and offset at your own discretion. Wheel regulations differ by country, and how far a wheel sits outside the fender depends on ride height and personal preference. We are glad to advise — ask us before you order — but the final choice of size and offset rests with the customer. Any vehicle examples shown are reference sizes only.

Quotation and fitment inquiry

Tell us the specification you are considering and the vehicle it is for. Kurumaya Tokyo JAPAN Co. verifies fitment with WORK before confirming an order. This form is an inquiry, not an order: nothing is added to your cart.

WORK wheels are built to order. Our recommendations are guidance only and are mostly based on the vehicle in its original (OEM) setup. We may be able to confirm fitment with a big brake kit, but wide-body and coilover setups are difficult for us to confirm. The final choice of specification rests with the customer, and an order cannot be cancelled once production has started. Import duties will be charged separately at the time of import.
