Overview

KEPLA original engine hood for the Lotus Exige S2, designed with heat extraction as the first priority. The design also reduces turbulence over the outer panel, helps keep rainwater out when the car is parked, and keeps some rear visibility.

The FRP hood weighs about half of the OEM part and the carbon versions about one third, so it removes a significant amount of weight from the top of the engine. Re-setting the suspension after installation is recommended.

• Replaces the OEM engine hood – basically a bolt-on fit.
• This is a handmade product. Always test-fit before final installation; minor work such as light sanding may be required depending on the body.
• Paint before installation. For dry carbon, a UV-cut clear coat is recommended to protect the surface.
