Wide Ducted Hardtop for Lotus Exige S2 (2005–2011)

Product Overview

Engineered for the track and refined for the road, the Kepla Wide Ducted Hardtop is a premium aerodynamic upgrade for the Lotus Exige Series 2 (2005–2011). Featuring a significantly wider roof duct than the factory hardtop, it increases the volume of fresh air supplied to the engine bay while giving your Exige a distinctive motorsport appearance.

Unlike the OEM Exige roof, which has a ducted appearance but does not use a sealed internal airflow path, the Kepla Wide Ducted Hardtop features a true two-layer construction. A separately bonded lower duct panel prevents incoming air from escaping into the roof cavity, directing airflow efficiently toward the engine bay where it is needed.

The duct opening is designed with a tapered inlet to capture fresh air with minimal airflow loss. Combined with the sealed internal duct structure, this functional design improves cooling efficiency at speed while maintaining smooth airflow.

Designed specifically around the body lines of the Lotus Exige S2, this hardtop combines lightweight construction, functional aerodynamics, and factory-quality fitment, making it ideal for serious track cars as well as premium road builds.

Functional Aerodynamic Design

The Wide Ducted Hardtop is more than a cosmetic upgrade.

The wide tapered duct inlet efficiently captures fresh air while minimizing turbulence. Inside the hardtop, a separately bonded lower duct panel forms a dedicated airflow channel, preventing air from escaping into the hardtop cavity.

This true two-layer duct construction delivers airflow directly toward the engine bay, making the roof duct fully functional rather than simply decorative.
