Radium Engineering製インライン式フューエルパルスダンパー（FPD）です。インジェクターの開閉によって燃料レール内に発生する圧力脈動を内部ダイヤフラムが吸収し、燃圧の安定化をサポートします。高流量インジェクター使用時のアイドルサージや、不安定なリーン空燃比スパイク、息つき症状の改善に役立つ場合があります。

■ バリエーション｜Variants

• 20-0199 — FPD-R（スタンダードレンジ）
  ベース燃圧40～70psiに対応します。ベース燃圧が70psiを超えない場合は、通常こちらを選択します。
• 20-0200 — FPD-XR（エクストラレンジ）
  ベース燃圧40～105psiに対応します。70psiを超える燃圧範囲で使用するシステムに適しています。

■ ベース燃圧について｜Base Fuel Pressure
ベース燃圧とは、燃料ポンプを作動させ、燃圧レギュレーターからバキュームラインを外した状態で測定する燃圧です。使用するベース燃圧を測定し、その範囲に適合するFPDを選択してください。

■ 重要な注意事項｜Important Warnings

• 機械式燃料ポンプには使用できません。
• 直噴システムおよび直噴用高圧燃料ポンプには使用できません。
• 機械式ポンプや直噴用高圧ポンプが発生する強い圧力脈動は、FPD内部のダイヤフラムを短期間で破損させるおそれがあります。
• 燃料ライン接続用アダプターフィッティングは付属しません。
• 燃料システムによっては、複数のFPDやリターンライン側への設置が必要になる場合があります。

■ Product Overview
A Radium Engineering inline fuel pulse damper designed to absorb pressure oscillations created by the opening and closing of fuel injectors. Its internal diaphragm helps stabilize fuel pressure and may help reduce idle surge, erratic lean air/fuel ratio spikes, and stumbling associated with fuel-pressure pulsations.

■ Variants

• 20-0199 — FPD-R, Standard Range
  Designed for a static base fuel pressure of 40–70psi. This is generally the appropriate choice when base pressure does not exceed 70psi.
• 20-0200 — FPD-XR, Extra Range
  Designed for a static base fuel pressure of 40–105psi and systems operating above the FPD-R range.

■ Base Fuel Pressure
Base fuel pressure is measured with the fuel pump running and the vacuum line disconnected from the regulator. Measure the system’s base pressure and select the damper whose operating range covers that pressure.

■ Important Warnings

• Do not use with mechanical fuel pumps.
• Do not use with direct-injection systems or direct-injection high-pressure pumps.
• The intense pressure pulses produced by these pumps can quickly rupture the damper’s internal diaphragm.
• Fuel-line adapter fittings are not included.
• Some fuel systems may require multiple dampers or a damper installed in the return line.
